Velvet Liberation is a way of life for it's three main members - Dziko, Re & Son Of Dan. All three live, breathe and embrace the sounds of London. With a mix of soul, afrobeat, electronica and broken beat, VL have grown into a free-form collective working alongside muscians, singers & poets across Europe. Though they have worked together on various studio projects over the last few years, it's only as recently as 2008 that the group started recording as VL.
